How will I know if you’re the right counsellor for me?
The only way to know for sure is to have a session with me. Most people can get a good sense if we’re a good fit within the first few sessions. However, if we aren’t a good fit, I encourage you to let me know because I am more than happy to help you find the resources or refer you to someone who might be a better fit for you!

Is online counselling/virtual care a good fit for me?
Although there are many advantages of virtual care such as it is convenient, reduces the carbon footprint, it’s effective, it’s not right for everyone. Virtual care works best for those who are comfortable with technology, have reliable internet access, and have a quiet, safe, private environment to connect during their sessions. There is always the option of phone sessions as well.
If you are located around the Dawson Creek, BC area, you are always welcome to book an in-person session.
How often do we meet?
As part of your client rights, you get to set your session frequency! I encourage you to find a regular schedule that works for you whether it’s weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, etc. –base on your needs! It’s important for us to meet consistently in order to make progress.
Are your services covered by my extended health benefits?
As a professional counsellor, my services may or may not be covered by your extended health benefits plan. It is the clients’ responsibility to check with the health plan provider to confirm. Once the payment has been received, an official receipt will be provided. At this time, Wholehearted Counselling Service cannot do direct billing to insurance companies.
Are you accepting New Clients?
Absolutely! I provide counselling for adolescence and adults living in Canada. Wholehearted Counselling is welcoming new clients and offering evening appointments to be able to better fit your scheduling needs!
When I book an appointment through the “Book Now” button – what time zone is it in?
You can choose your own time zone and it will provide you with appointments that are available in your time zone!
